Just to compare, I recently took a picture in Auto Mode, Av Mode and Manual Mode.  I took it seconds apart of the same subject at the same angle and light.

Below are the results:







I feel kind of justified for thinking that Manual Mode is better thank Av mode.  What do you think?

When shooting waterfalls, do you prefer a slower shutter speed or do you favour the more natural look of a quick shutter?




I've taken the same image with both options and was wondering which do you prefer?  Which one do you think looks better?

Please feel free to comment with some of your own work explaining why you made the choice you did?
Is there a specific circumstance that dictates the choice you make on the day? Do you use filters and if so, which filters do you use?

I have been working crazy hours and haven't been able to thank each of you individually for the favourites you kindly gave me, I'm sorry about that. Please know that I do really appreciate each and every one.

I've found that photos (or other artwork) which I think are really good don't always do well on deviant while the ones that I don't think will do well, sometimes does. So that got me wondering, which of your artwork is your personal favourite and which is the one that did best on deviant?  If you have the time, won't you list those two pieces of yours in a comment?  I would like to see what you think and maybe discover some new favourites of mine of your work.
