Safety First
For safety's sake, use a harness or a cage to safely have your bird enjoy the outdoors. Even birds with their wings clipped can fly quite a distance, at least far enough that you won't be able to keep up. Therefore it is often advised that you keep your bird on a lead while going outside. You can purchase a lead and birdy body harness on Amazon or on Ebay.
